CCSD #1 Consolidated Grants Meeting

Last week, some of our high school students had the opportunity to travel to Cheyenne to visit the Wyoming National Guard and learn all about the different facets of military service. Our high school counselors and coordinators prioritize creating collaborative relationships with all of our military branches in order to provide students the opportunity to choose that post career path if that is their interest.

A big shout out to all of our September Unsung Heroes, Academic Spotlight, Teacher of the Month, and Support Staff of the month recognitions at LSRV!
Congratulations! #LSRVRocks

Next week is RHS Homecoming week...check out the festivities happening all week!
Go Outlaws!

Public Service Announcement:
In an effort to continue to provide a safe learning environment in CCSD #1 schools', local Law Enforcement agencies will be conducting training walkthroughs and drills at all Rawlins schools this weekend, September 21st and 22nd.
Thank you to SRD Robertson and SRO Yardley, and all of our local officers, deputies, and patrolmen who commit to keeping our students, staff, and community safe.
Carbon County Sheriff's Department
Rawlins Police Department
Wyoming Highway Patrol

As we are now in full swing of the 2024-2025 school year, please remember to drive cautiously in school zones. Our children deserve everyone's extra attention in the morning and after school so that everyone arrives to their destinations safely.
CCSD #1 appreciates your dedication to our children's safety!

Nearly one-third of public-school students are Latino, bringing unique cultures, traditions, and identities rooted in dozens of countries into our schools.
As we begin #HispanicHeritageMonth, we celebrate Latino diversity & excellence in our schools & through our continued work in CCSD #1.
#HHM

No school for students tomorrow, Monday, September 16th.
We will see you Tuesday!

CCSD #1 is proud to have SRO Yardley serve our students, staff, and schools in Carbon County. She is an exemplary officer and we celebrate her on National Police Women's Day!
Thank you, Officer Yardley for your service to our district and community!

The reason why we have great arts education in our schools?
Great arts educators!
Thank you to all the educators, from Pre-K through postsecondary, helping students expand their artistic abilities.
